Katipunan Bank is recognized as the “Grand Champion” of the Department of Labor and Employment Bi-Annual Search for the Regional Performance in the following areas; Productivity Olympics by the Tripartite Council and Wage Board, Labor Management, Cooperation and Grievance Machinery both by the Regional Conciliation and Mediation Board.
On June 23, 2015, DOLE Secretary Rosalina Dimapulis-Baldoz handed over the plaque of appreciation, certificate of Recognition and cash prize to Katipunan Bank for the above mentioned awards at the Zamboanga City Eco Zone. The activity was witnessed by all regional Directors and Had of Offices of following Government Agencies, DTI, NEDA and all attached agencies of DOLE, namely, Conciliation and Mediation Board, Tripartite and wage council, National Labor Relations Council and Non-Government Organizations such as Chinese Chamber of Commerce and International Labor Organization.
Katipunan Bank continuously outwits the performance of all local and multi-national corporation of the entire Zamboanga winning the award over 15 different companies who emerged as finalist for the said competition.
