Katipunan Bank, Inc. “A Rural Bank” was once again recognized as the Regional Winner of the Bi-annual Search for Outstanding GMC for Industrial Peace of Region 9 by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB). The award was received by HR Manager Pilarita S. Mejorada on behalf of Katipunan Bank last September 1, 2017 at Dipolog Sunset Boulevard, Dipolog City. Katipunan Bank has been a constant awardee of this Bi-Annual Search since 2015.
Katipunan Bank also garnered the award for being the only Rural Bank to be in outstanding compliance to the implementation of the Productivity Incentive Scheme in the Workplace in Region 10. Alex Pitos, Oroquieta Branch Manager, received the award on behalf of Katipunan Bank last December 21, 2017 at Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City. This is the second time that Katipunan Bank has won this award; the first award was received on year 2015.
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) gives recognition to organizations that have commendable and philanthropic Programs which enable its employees to benefit in its Company’s Gain-Share Program.
