The Philippine Red Cross awarded Katipunan Bank, Inc. with a Certificate of Appreciation during its Blood Donors’ Month Recognition Ceremony on July 31 “in grateful recognition of its meritorious service in promoting Blood Services.”
The conduct of biennial bloodletting activities is a customary practice of Katipunan Bank as one of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
It has been one of the goals of Katipunan Bank to partner with organizations such as The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) that conduct public activities such as collecting safe and quality blood products that will be utilized in protecting and aving lives of patients in need.
