After 4 years of application, KATIPUNAN BANK INC. “A RURAL BANK” and RURAL BANK OF SIOCON (ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE), INC. are happy to announce that the consolidation of the two (2) banks was finally approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) dated February 20, 2020 and by the Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) last December 22, 2020, respectively and a new consolidated bank will come to life to be known as KATIPUNAN BANKING CORPORATION “A RURAL BANK”.
